A new fundraising website has been launched to re-elect Andrew as MP for Denton and Reddish. Andrew hopes that people will consider donating to the re-election campaign so that Labour can have a fairer chance against the £ multi-million donations from a small number of rich Tory donors.

“The fight back starts here as 2010 is going to be a year of big choices, and here in Tameside and Stockport we have both important local elections and the General Election where you will decide the path the country will take over the next five years.”

“The Tories have now chosen their candidate for Denton and Reddish - she's a senior councillor from Shoreham on the south coast of England!  On the other hand, I have lived in the Denton and Reddish constituency all my life.  I know the area, its communities, its strengths and its problems.  I grew up here, and I am bringing my own family up here.”

“As your MP since 2005, I have always made it my business to be out and about, supporting community groups, visiting schools and factories, holding surgeries and meetings as well as being in London on Parliamentary duties, and this is how I hope to continue.” 

“Sadly the one advantage the Conservatives have at this coming election is campaign finance. That's why I hope you will consider donating to my re-election campaign so that Labour can have a fairer chance against the £ multi-million donations from a small number of rich Tory donors.”
