Reddish MP Andrew Gwynne is hailing new Stagecoach Manchester announcements on improvements to bus service 203 as a victory for local campaigning.

Stagecoach Manchester service 203 will soon be improved to run every 8 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes. The timetable has also been revised to improve service reliability, and an earlier trip into Manchester will be introduced at 5:03am from South Reddish, Sandy Lane Mondays to Fridays.

Andrew Gwynne MP said:

“I am delighted that service 203 is being improved. This will make a real difference to people in Reddish that need to get to work early in Manchester city centre.”

“It is always important that if people want to see improvements to the bus services they rely on they let their local councillors know. Reddish councillors have let me know of local residents need for earlier bus services, and I have been able to take these concerns to Stagecoach bosses who have put in place the changes we want to see.”
